Shahril called me up on 9 Dec 2000 and said that Mrs. Siva and Sweetie have flown in from London for a short holiday. We were to meet them at Mandarin Oriental hotel (beside KLCC).
	It was really nice to see them again, after all these years. Mrs. Siva looks exactly the same, while Sweetie is as camera-shy like before, although looking as pretty as ever.

 

Faizal came too, and all of us talked about... well, all sorts of things really. From bits and pieces about London and UK, to Shahril's entrepreneurism in business, to Faizal's fascination about the Mamak stall and his web surfings to the Guardian and listening to Capital Radio live every morning. Generally, we all missed London life. St. John's Wood too.

 

	After lounging at the cafe, Shahril invited us to one of his restaurants - the Mississippi Slims. (I hope I've spelt that right.) Anyway, I only then realised that he had a string of restaurants under his franchise; this chap has been quite busy in climbing the stairways to stardom.
	Well, Sweetie and Mrs. Siva, I hope you had an enjoyable and memorable time in KL. Hope the wedding in Ipoh turned out well too. Wished you had stayed longer.
