Plan A - Lunch at 1 Utama

bulletWell, before even Plan A, I must tell you that there was only Tesy and I left in the Wackos group to come up with a birthday surprise. This is because poopers like Rizal had to run off with Yasmin to do a roadshow in Ipoh and JB. Indran is always MIA, while Ju is had a better lunch deal than we could afford. Cat Lady was invited but her Kitten was having flu, so she had to stay in her bag for the meantime.
bulletWe thought of taking her out for lunch at a Chinese restaurant in OU but good old Anush also had a better lunch deal than we could budget for.
bulletSo, we resorted to Plan B, and roped-a-dope an associate Wacko - Michelle. (She turned out to be a major source of the laughs we had today, rivaling what we are accustomed to from Tes.)

Plan B - Tea at Suchan

bulletTesy had asked Michelle to invite Anush out for tea, on the pretext that Michelle was celebrating Anush's birthday. Michelle was to leave the office building with Anush at 5:15pm and walk to the carpark, meeting Tesy and I there.
bulletLittle did Michelle know that Tesy was a stickler for tardiness. Punctuality was not part of her vocabulary.
bulletBy 5:25pm, I was waiting and waiting for Tesy, and decided to call her on the handphone and guess where was Tesy? "Oh, I'm just about to enter the lift... see you downstairs"
bulletBy 5:30pm, Tesy and I hurriedly walked to the carpark - only to see both Michelle and Anush standing by the roadside, either as if waiting to flag down a taxi or cross the road to Kelab Kilat. It seemed that Michelle had ran out of ideas to lie to Anush about where "her car" was and thought that her "driver" had sneaked to Kelab Kilat for kopi or something. "Aiya, Tesy, where were you???!?", exclaimed Michelle, "Don't know how to lie to Anu anymore-lah..."
bulletMichelle can't lie to save her life.
bulletOnce in Suchan, we had four types of their most delicious cheese cakes: Chocolate (yum), Walnut (mega yum), Cashewnut (super yum), Mescaponé (yum to the max + 1!). No more cheesecakes for us. ("Ok-lah, today last one.")
bullet6:30pm and we thought that it would be too early to call it a day. So, we had to fit in an extra session - we wanted to see the movie.

Extra Excursion - Movie at KLCC

bulletWe tried to book for  "Star Wars" at KLCC or Summit USJ (because it had THX) but it was fully booked (Anush even tried sweet-talking to the ticket- operator at Summit but failed; she probably had to much cheese in the breath), so we settled for "Never Been Kissed" at KLCC.
bulletBefore the movie, we had some coffee at an Italian joint beside the cinemas. Tesy and I had wild mushroom soup. Somehow, we were talking about toilets and washrooms. (Oh yes, Michelle just came back from the loo and told us of the hi-tech water tap that she didn't know how to operate.) Well, anyway, to cut a long story short, Tesy being her expressive self, wanted to show us how a bidet worked, and since it was too far for us to walk to the toilets, she demonstrated by (ok, this part a bit censored) - well, you see, she choked on a bit of soup and wild mushroom while laughing until she threw it up all over the floor, getting some soup (and remember cheese) even through her nose! We now call Tesy Ms Bidet.
bullet"Never Been Kissed" was quite entertaining, with lots of slapstick comedy but it is too fairy tale-ish, and has a sheepishly happy ending that only an American film would have.
bulletTomorrow midnight, we're all watching "Star Wars" at KLCC. Hmmm, this time, let's have wild tapai instead.
